CUSTOM BETTA FILTRATION
In the wild, Bettas inhabit slow, gentle moving bodies of water. Captive-bred varieties typically possess extravagant, flowing finnage and as such are poor swimmers. Therefore, the need for gentle, diffused water movement is extremely important. Fluval have this covered thanks to the Gentle Filter Intake featuring multiple slots over a large area to help slow water entry and protect delicate Betta fins along with the Patent pending Diffusion Chamber which disperses flow and polishes water during the final stage of filtration before gently releasing it back into the aquarium through widened output slots. The end result is gentle, diffused water movement and turnover in the aquarium that mimics the clean, tranquil currents of wild Betta habitats.
